Thank God for my Hobby

The past couple weeks have been rough.  I learned a few things about myself and the first is that I don't do surgery well and never want to have another again(but I know that's not gonna work).  The only thing that has pulled me through is Mr. piggy, my family and my hobby.   Having the progressive challenges to work on have kept me busy and thank goodness. So this is my progressive challenge card for the challenge at From the Heart.  If you don't know Faith's artwork you are missing out.  Check her out here:

So with out further ado my card-

Progressive challenge image at From the Heart

I love Faith's creative art work and that I have a chance to get a free image every month.  That is why I participate in her progressive challenge.   At first this image  looked a little scary to me but once o got started I had so much fun. I like to keep things simple and use the art work as a focal point with most of my cards.  So here is the CAS card I made for the September image:

Zombies

I am in Long Beach Washington enjoying a long weekend with my husband cruising around in the 34 ford that he built, watching for other cool cars(which there are a lot of) eating some good food, doing a little shopping and of course coloring to keep up with the 100 days of Halloween with very few supplies and came up with this card for the anything goes challenge.  I am kinda proud of my self for keeping up and making a card that I like.  Hope you enjoy my card and thanks for looking.

100 days of Halloween challenge at Simply B Stamps

Betty has given us some tough challenges, but this has been the hardest.  I had to turn one of her absorbable images in to a scary clown.  I like the way it turned out, but I did pretty much copy the face of the image she showed us.  Thanks for looking and be sure to check out the rest of the fab images others are doing in her face book group.  Also check out her fabee blog.  It is a great resource of lots of fun stuff.
